About the Journal

Journal of Innovation in Community Excellence (JICE) publishes scholarly articles on innovative approaches, practices, and research stemming from community service activities and programmes. The journal aims to highlight impactful initiatives that address societal challenges, foster sustainable development, and promote excellence in community engagement. The journal serves as a platform for academics, community leaders, practitioners, and policymakers to share innovative solutions, successful case studies, and research-driven insights that promote community well-being and excellence.

JICE was established in 2025 by Edutrax Inovasi Indonesia, a foundation dedicated to advancing education through research, innovation and collaboration. The foundation strives to bridge the gap between theory and practice by fostering the development and dissemination of innovative educational solutions. Through JICE, we aim to promote a culture of continuous improvement in society by providing a platform for academics, community leaders, practitioners, and policymakers to share impactful ideas that address the dynamic needs of communities worldwide.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double peer review process to ensure high-quality scholarly contributions. The journal publishes issues biannually, in June and December, and accepts submissions exclusively written in English. Authors are encouraged to submit original, unpublished work that demonstrates innovative approaches to community excellence and addresses current challenges in the field. Each submission is carefully evaluated for its relevance, methodological soundness, and potential impact on social programme practices and policies.
