About the Journal
Journal of Innovation in Mathematics (JIM) publishes scholarly articles on innovative approaches in mathematics education, applications, and theoretical advancements. The journal explores cutting-edge practices, tools, and strategies that enhance mathematics teaching and learning outcomes, with a focus on topics such as the integration of technology in mathematics education, artificial intelligence in mathematics, innovative pedagogical approaches in mathematics instruction, and interdisciplinary applications of mathematics in science, engineering, technology, and the arts. The journal serves as a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share new ideas, methodologies, and solutions to address challenges in mathematics learning and its applications across disciplines.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double peer review process to ensure high-quality scholarly contributions. The journal publishes issues biannually, in June and December, and accepts submissions exclusively written in English. Authors are encouraged to submit original, unpublished work that demonstrates innovative approaches to mathematics education and addresses current challenges in the field. Each submission is carefully evaluated for its relevance, methodological soundness, and potential impact on educational practices and policies.
JIM was established in 2025 by Edutrax Inovasi Indonesia, a foundation dedicated to advancing education through research, innovation and collaboration. The foundation strives to bridge the gap between theory and practice by fostering the development and dissemination of innovative educational solutions. Through JIM, we aim to promote a culture of continuous improvement in education by providing a platform for thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners to share impactful ideas and groundbreaking research that addresses the dynamic needs of learners and educators worldwide.

By publishing rigorous and impactful research, JIM strives to transform mathematics education and practice, creating pathways for innovation that benefit educators, students, and society at large.
Author Charges
JIM is committed to maintaining accessibility and transparency in the publication process. To support our operational costs and ensure the highest standards of academic publishing, the following charges apply:
- Submission Fee: There is no fee for submitting manuscripts to the journal.
- Article Processing Charge (APC): Upon acceptance, authors are required to pay an APC of … [free as of 2025] … to cover the costs of peer review, editing, and online publication.
- Fast-track Article Processing (FAP): we offer a FAP option for authors who require expedited review and publication of their manuscripts. This service ensures that submitted articles receive priority attention in the peer-review and editorial processes, significantly reducing the time from submission to publication. A Fast-Track Article Processing Fee of … [free as of 2025] … is required in addition to the standard APC.
- Waiver Policy: We offer partial or full waivers of the APC for authors from low-income or developing countries and early career researchers. Requests for waivers should be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Additional Charges: There are no additional charges for colour figures, supplementary materials, or other elements included in the publication.
The APC ensures that all published articles are freely available online under an open-access model, allowing for maximum visibility and global dissemination of research findings. Payment details will be sent to the authors by email.
