About the Journal

Journal of Innovation in STEAM Education (JISE) publishes scholarly articles on innovative approaches, practices, and research that advance the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) to foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking in education. The journal explores cutting-edge practices, tools, and strategies that enhance interdisciplinary teaching and learning in STEAM education, with a focus on topics such as the use of emerging technologies (AI, robotics, and AR/VR) in education, innovative curriculum design, project-based learning approaches, and the role of the arts in deepening STEM engagement. The journal serves as a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share cutting-edge studies, innovative practices, and transformative approaches that bridge the gap between traditional STEM disciplines and the creative arts.

JISE was established in 2025 by Edutrax Inovasi Indonesia, a foundation dedicated to advancing education through research, innovation and collaboration. The foundation strives to bridge the gap between theory and practice by fostering the development and dissemination of innovative educational solutions. Through JISE, we aim to promote a culture of continuous improvement in education by providing a platform for thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners to share impactful ideas and groundbreaking research that addresses the dynamic needs of learners and educators worldwide.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double peer review process to ensure high-quality scholarly contributions. The journal publishes issues biannually, in June and December, and accepts submissions exclusively written in English. Authors are encouraged to submit original, unpublished work that demonstrates innovative approaches to STEAM education and addresses current challenges in the field. Each submission is carefully evaluated for its relevance, methodological soundness, and potential impact on educational practices and policies.
