Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate the validity and practicality of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Electronic Student Worksheet (E-Worksheet) using the Top Worksheet platform for teaching measures of central tendency to eighth-grade students. The study employed a design research methodology with a development study approach following Tessmer’s formative evaluation stages, including preliminary analysis, self-evaluation, one-to-one evaluation, expert review, and small-group. Data were collected through interviews, validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the developed E-Worksheet achieved high levels of validity, with scores of 92% for content validity, 92% for construct validity, and 88% for language validity. In the small-group evaluation involving six students, the E-Worksheet was found to be easy to use, enabling students to follow the instructions, complete the learning activities, and actively engage in the learning process. The practicality questionnaire yielded a score of 82,1%, indicating that the E-Worksheet was very practical. These findings suggest that the PBL-based E-Worksheet developed using the Top Worksheet platform is a valid and practical digital learning resource for teaching measures of central tendency.
